How it Works
How is Event Promotion Handled?
Our event can be held alone or it can be added to an already planned event that your group is having. We do not need a lot of room. Your Hall would promote the Event through your normal procedures (i.e. Flyers, Emails, etc). We are happy to provide you with a brochure that will explain the entire process to the supporters of your Hall. Any and all questions that people have will be answered by our staff via email or phone.
How is Setup Handled?
Alpha Gold Exchange does all the work. We do all of our own setup and takedown. We supply all of our own materials and staff. The night of the event, we will arrive and set up our area. We will require an area of about 2 folding 6 foot tables and access to a power supply.
What Happens During the Event?
As people come in, we will greet them and issue them a number, much like you would find at the local deli. We will then call people, one at a time, to our table, where we will separate their gold by karat, test and weigh the metal, and make them an offer for their gold. If they agree, we fill out the required paper work, and they get cash, right on the spot. It's that easy.
Also, for larger groups, we incorporate a raffle. Each person who comes sells a piece of jewelry gets a raffle ticket. At the end of the night, we raffle off a gift card to a business such as Best Buy, Target, Wal-Mart - the choice is yours.
How Do You Get Paid?
At the end of the event, we will and present your organization with a donation of a 15% of all the money that we spent on gold that evening. We can make it cash or check. Again, it is your preference. It truly is a Win-Win Fundraising Opportunity.
Example:
- 500 Supporters
- 15% of them attend (75 people)
- $300 average sale
- $22,500 in money paid out
- Your group makes at least $3,375.00
Preparation
All we need to be able to set up at your event is a 2 week window.

One, we buy the gold from many dealers across the area. And two, we do our homework. We go out and test these dealers periodically and see exactly what they paying for gold.
